kcalZesty vegan feta cheese to add to any dish
Ingredients
1 block hard/firm tofu
2 Tbsp 2 warm water
1 tsp 1 white miso
2 Tbsp 2 olive oil
1 Tbsp 1 nutritional yeast
2 Tbsp 2 apple cider vinegar
2 tsp 2 lemon juice
1 1/4 tsp 1 1/4 salt
1/2 tsp 1/2 garlic powder
1 tsp 1 oregano
dash paprika
dash cayenne pepper (optional)
Preparation
- Allow tofu to press in tofu presser for 10 minutes to remove excess liquid.
- While tofu is pressing, make your feta marinade. Add remaining ingredients to a bowl and whisk.
- Once tofu is done, cut tofu into cubes or crumble and mix together with feta marinade.
- Allow the marinade to sit for at least one hour in the refrigerator. Store in airtight container for up to three days in the refrigerator.
