It’s that time of the year again. Time for cozy pumpkin spice drinks and a creamy, candy bar inspired baked oats recipe! Time for snuggly sweaters and hot tea, short days and long nights. So, let’s get baking!
Gather Ingredients
You won’t need to go out and get anything fancy for this recipe. You will likely have most of the ingredients for this baked oatmeal recipe right in your panty.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Oatmeal
- Almond Milk
- Flax Egg
- Coconut Sugar or Maple Syrup
- Cocoa Powder
- Baking Powder
- Happy Viking Vanilla Protein Powder
Mix and Blend Baked Oats Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350* F. Then to create this candy bar inspired recipe simply add 3 cups oats, 2 cups almond milk, 1 flax egg, 1/8 cup coconut sugar, 2 Tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tsp baking powder and 1 scoop protein powder to your food processor and blend until smooth.
Then pour 3/4 of the mixture in a small baking dish. Top with 1/2 cup peanut butter and then pour remaining mixture on top of peanut butter. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Allow the baked oats to cool for about 5 minutes and then enjoy!
