Healthy Vegan Breakfast Juice: Beets & Blueberries

A deliciously refreshing vegan breakfast juice. A perfectly tasty, energy boost juice with beets and blueberries.
Do you want to know the number one Googled health question in 2019? It was: How to lower blood pressure? This blog is definitely not here to teach you about lowering your blood pressure but it can certainly help you make healthier choices in support of a healthy lifestyle. Which is what this vegan breakfast juice aims to accomplish. Packed with delicious beets which helps to fight inflammation and support a healthy blood pressure. Along with blueberries, a heart healthy fruit. This combo is not only delicious but a treat for your heart.. and just in times for Valentine’s Day too.
Since this is just a juice recipe you’ll only need two ingredients… beets and blueberries. I love using my Kuvings Whole Slow Juicer to make my cold pressed juice recipes. It makes the process SUPER easy from start to finish.
Simply wash your fruit. I trimmed the leafy green tops off the beets and added them to the juicer, sliced. I wouldn’t recommend wasting time peeling the beets. Then add the washed blueberries to the juicer. A great tip is to leave the juicer nozzle capped as it juices the fruits or vegetables. Then once it’s done juicing open the nozzle and let the juice flow into the pitcher. This is best served cold. Store for up to 2 days in the refrigerator.
