Ingredients
3/4 c. 3/4 all-purpose flour
1/4 c 1/4 oat flour
1 tsp. 1 baking powder
1 tsp. 1 ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. 1/2 baking soda
1/2 tsp. 1/2 kosher salt
2/3 c. 2/3 unsweetened almond milk
1/2 c. 1/2 granulated sugar
1/4 c. 1/4 melted vegan butter
1 tsp. 1 apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. 1 pure vanilla extract
- Cinnamon Sugar Coating
1 c. 1 granulated sugar
4 tsp. 4 ground cinnamon
Pinch kosher salt
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients plus the sugar: almond milk, sugar, butter, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla. Pour into dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Spoon mixture into donut pan.
- Bake until edges are golden and middles are set, 10 minutes. Remove donuts from pan and let cool slightly on a cooling rack.
- In a medium bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of kosher salt. Gently sprinkle on top of donuts while still warm.
