kcalEasy vegan avocado crema to use to top tacos, nachos and other Mexican fare !
Ingredients
1 cup 1 cashews, soaked
1/2 1/2 avocado, chopped
1/2 cup 1/2 water
1 1 lime, juiced
1 tsp 1 garlic powder
1 tsp 1 onion powder
1 tsp 1 salt
Preparation
- Drain cashews after soaking in hot water for up to one hour.
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Store in fridge for up to five days.

Fun, easy, yummy!
Love these vegan sauce/topping ideas! The cashews are such a blank slate you can really amplify some flavors here. I did a few cloves of garlic raw (I wanna try roasted garlic next) and the juice of two limes and a lemon (I really like that citrus flavor and didn’t have cilantro to brighten it up). I also added some extra salt and the whole avocado for all the flavor. Yummy!!
